EXHIBITION of 6 artists on the theme of "From Shadow to Light" From Wednesday, February 18 to Saturday, March 7, open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Atrium of La Source, in Roncq, hosts the exhibition "From Shadow to Light," presented by a collective of six artists from the Lille metropolitan area. Six unique worlds, six sensibilities, six artistic approaches—painting, photography, sculpture (clay, wood, glass, bronze)—come together around a common theme: shadow and light. Opposition and complementarity, fragility and strength, light and dark… Light can only be conceived in relation to shadow, and shadow only exists in light. Together, they define forms, reveal volumes, shape reliefs, and guide the eye. They measure themselves, respond to each other, and dance, like black and white on the page. Through paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations, the artists explore this subtle and mysterious duality. Plays of light, staging, and sublime materials compose a luminous journey, where beauty sometimes emerges from the shadows, fragile and ephemeral, yet profoundly moving. An invitation to see differently, to feel, and to allow oneself to be guided from shadow to light.
